FORFAR SILO INSTALLATION

Barton’s, the UK’s largest aluminium silo manufacturer, has completed a silo installation at Don & Low Limited, a leading internationally renowned manufacturer of woven and nonwoven polyolefin technical textiles. The installation at Don & Low’s manufacturing site in Forfar, Scotland is part of the company’s expansion and the additional production requirements.

Commenting on the installation, Andrew Taylor, Plant Engineer at Don & Low Limited said:

“The silos are up and running and we are very happy with the result. We were also very happy with the speed and efficiency of Barton’s delivery and installation teams.”

The silos supplied to Don & Low are 18 metres high and 4 metres in diameter with a gross capacity of 204m3 each. Three Barton Fabrications silos have been installed at the site to date.
