Since 1st July 2003 all manufacturers of products used in areas where potentially explosive atmospheres exist have had to supply equipment which complies to ATEX Directive 94/9/EC (ATEX 100). Barton silos are fully compliant with all ATEX requirements.

Awarded to Barton in October 2015, and a requirement from many blue chip businesses, the government run health and safety assessment scheme demonstrates that Barton meets all relevant health and safety standards.

Barton Fabrications has achieved accreditation to CE mark its vessels to EN 1090: this ensures compliance with the latest Construction Products Regulations. From 1st July 2016 the Construction Products Regulation has made it a legal requirement that all fabricated structural steel components and fabrications MUST be CE Marked.
